Marcel Rodarte

Marcel Rodarte is the Executive Director of the California Contract Cities Association. He became the Association's third executive director on July 1, 2016. The California Contract Cities Association is the second largest local government association in California and serves 74 member cities and more than 7.5 million residents in Los Angeles County and beyond. Marcel previously served as Mayor and City Councilmember for the City of Norwalk from 2011 to 2016 when he voluntarily resigned to accept his current position. Marcel retired from the Air Force in 2011 after serving for a combined 21 years (17 in the Air Force and 4 in the Navy). He previously worked for the U.S. federal government with the Air Force, Department of Defense, and Department of Homeland Security. He holds associate Degrees in Logistics and Electronics, a bachelors degree in Business Management, and a masters degree in Leadership from the University of Southern California.
